Some of my wedding couples also ask me to photograph their engagement session. But for Vicky and Alper, this session we did before their Richmond Hotel Istanbul wedding was a little different; they had a little baby, and they preferred the session to be a family portrait session.<\/p>\n

But this post is about their wedding story only.<\/p>\n

Vicky and Alper live in Switzerland, but since Alper’s extended family was in Istanbul, they chose get married in Turkey. They picked Leb-i Derya Meyhane<\/a>\u00a0on the rooftop of Beyo\u011flu Richmond Hotel<\/a>\u00a0as their wedding venue.<\/p>\n

Other than the wedding reception, the couple also wanted to give an Istanbul experience to their guests from abroad. So they hired a boat cruise on the Bosphorus. It was a good idea to do the wedding at night in a hotel, and the cruise in daytime. This way, the guests had a chance the enjoy the views of the Bosphorus in daylight.<\/p>\n

After the boat trip, we went to Richmond Hotel to get ready for the night. Even though it was her wedding day, Vicky was still a mom, and she never failed to attend her baby girl. Of course she had some help from her mom and her sister as well.<\/p>\n

When we went upstairs to Leb-i Derya for the reception, the guests were welcomed by a beautiful view of the Bosphorus. The fun started at sunset. The couple and the guests had a great time dancing and partying through the night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
